She received her doctorate from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2009. From 2008 to 2012, she worked as a senior researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg. From 2012 to 2017, she held a junior professorship in Economic Sociology at the University of Hamburg. She received her doctorate from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2009. From 2008 to 2012, she worked as a senior researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg. From 2012 to 2017, she held a junior professorship in Economic Sociology at the University of Hamburg.
