The 5th Congress of the Academy of Sociology<\/a> will take place at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from October 8 to 10, 2025. The title of the congress is: “Societal Challenges – Sociological Answers?” With this overarching theme, a special focus will be placed on Sociology’s current ability to tackle societal challenges and solve social problems. In addition, a broad spectrum of current research contributions from analytical-empirical Sociology on a wide range of topics will be discussed at the congress.
The local organization is the responsibility of Prof. Dr. Gunnar Otte and Prof. Dr. Natascha Nisic. <\/p>\n
